BEST WEDDING PHOTOS OF 2015

It still amazes me how quickly time flies by – I have just completed my 2nd year as an Independent Professional Photographer. Each year brings new adventures, new locations and new clients that I am happy to call friends. I am so thankful to be doing what I love and honored by the wonderful clients that allow me to creatively capture their love stories.

2015 Highlights:

  • I traveled to Pismo Beach, San Diego, San Francisco, and Sacramento this year.
  • I booked Weddings with couples in Wisconsin and New Mexico.
  • I won an International Wed Award for a photo taken in Malibu.

Here are my Best Wedding Photos of 2015!

When Gina told me that her Baby Shower was going to be Woodland themed, I knew we would be fast friends. She is so creative, she handcrafted all of her decorations. Gina was inspired by adorable foxes and owls. I think she has a future in Event Planning and Decoration.

They had been friends for some time. Both enjoyed spending time together and most of their friends believed they would make a good couple. While on vacation from Pepperdine University, they joined a group of friends travelling to New York. Maybe it was fate or maybe the magic of the Big Apple either way it was New York that helped them realize their love for each other.

Christina & Daniel were married New Year’s Day at the Malibu West Beach Club. It was a gorgeous Ceremony on the upper deck, overlooking the Malibu coast. Although it was 50 degrees outside, the guests were warmed by Christina’s classic beauty and Daniel’s sweet sincerity. Christina & Daniel you two are a truly gorgeous couple and you are both sweethearts. I loved the story Daniel’s Mom told about the bunny Daniel bought to ask Christina to a school dance, because “no bunny else will do!” Thank you both for making me feel so welcome and for letting me document your perfect day!

My favorite highlights of their wedding: 1.Daniel paid homage to one of his favorite television shows “How I Met Your Mother” by including a Ring Bear in the procession.  2. It was a sweet surprise when Daniel lifted Christina up for their first kiss! 3. Christina and Daniel created their seating chart by naming each table after a city they had traveled to.

They saw photos of each other on Instagram. She was in Texas and he was in California but the attraction was immediate so they began following and commenting on each others posts. After 6 months and many late night chats with FaceTime, Jessica decided to move to California. Another 6 months passed and Victor gave Jessica a cat with a personalized collar, that read “Will you Marry us?

Jessica you are nothing short of gorgeous. I loved meeting you two, it warmed my heart to see how happy you are together. Our Starbucks meeting was “a wild time.” Thank you so much for choosing me to document your first day as husband and wife!

Jessica and Victor were married at the Beverly Hills Courthouse, in front of close friends and family. The Reception was held aboard Hornblower Cruises & Events in Marina Del Rey. My favorite part of their Wedding was Jessica’s beautiful Calla Lily bouquet and cake.

Lauren prepared for her Wedding day in her Grandmother’s Vintage decor room in Riverside. Everything in the room, from the trinkets to the furniture, was from the 1940’s. Lauren loves vintage inspired decor and hand made all of the decorations for her Vintage Tea Party themed Wedding. Lauren and Noe were married at Glen Ivy Golf Course at the Wedgewood Banquet Hall in Corona, CA. Their outdoor Ceremony took place on the top of a hill with a gorgeous view of the waterfalls and rolling Corona hills. After the Ceremony I spent time with the couple as we took photos in front of the many waterfalls that Glen Ivy had to offer. Lauren and Noe are such a sweet and quite couple but their photos oozed romance. Thank you two for letting me capture your gorgeous vintage tea party wedding day.

After days of rain we arrived in Palos Verdes to beautiful clear blue skies – perfect for a wedding day! Vivian and David exchanged vows at The Neighborhood Church in Palos Verdes, CA. The Church sits on the cliffs overlooking a rocky ocean seashore and is a gorgeous backdrop for family and bridal party photos. The interior of the church is equally stunning with the decor composed of floor to ceiling windows that let the sun pour in over the giant wall sized organ, that sets the backdrop for the bride and groom.

The Portofino Hotel in Redondo Beach, CA hosted the reception and was full of colorful blue Nigerian headdresses, lace dresses, gorgeous decor and delicious Nigerian cuisine. I absolutely loved meeting Vivian and David and am so honored to document all of the unique cultural traditions and genuine romance between the couple.
