Luc and Jerica met through mutual friends. Luc had tried to ask Jerica out several times.  While on a trip to Europe he vowed that he would ask Jerica out. The two found themselves  cleaning up after a mutual friends wedding. As Luc began to ask Jerica about her plans the following night, a group of their friends came in and interrupted, pulling Jerica away. He thought he had missed his chance once again, so he grabbed the trash and walked outside. There he found Jerica and asked her to sit and chat with him. The two sat on the curb, outside their friends wedding and Luc finally asked Jerica on a coffee date. On their first date they went for coffee and a picnic in Arlington Gardens. A year later, Luc brought Jerica to the Gardens again. He proposed to her surrounded by their closest friends playing violins and singing Queen’s “Somebody to Love”.
