VINTAGE INSPIRED RIVERSIDE WEDDING | JASMINE + ART

Jasmine and Art were married beneath the gorgeous stained glass ceiling at St. George Catholic Church in Ontario, CA. After, we headed to UC Riverside Botanical Gardens for Bridal party and Couple photos before heading to the Riverside Life Arts Center for the Reception.

Jasmine and Art met back in 2011, when an Ontario woman was arrested for the murder and dismemberment of her boyfriend. Art lived in the neighbourhood where the victims partial remains were found. Eeek! Right?! Jasmine was a Forensics major at the time and interviewed Art about the case. Well luckily this tragedy led to a happy beginning for Jasmine and Art.

Jasmine absolutely loved her time at UCR, so of course her Proposal took place during a hike at the UCR Botanical Gardens. Art popped the question in the Rose garden’s wooden gazebo but was almost interrupted by a coyote! I am so glad nothing like that happened during our Formal photos, of the Couple and Bridalparty, at the Botanical Gardens nor during their Engagement Session at Redland’s Prospect Park.

Jasmine and Art’s Reception was at the Riverside Life Arts Center, an Italian Renaissance-style brick building, from 1909. Jasmine and her mother designed the Bride and Bridesmaids bouquets as well as the floral center pieces that made up the vintage-inspired decor. My favorite decor piece was their cake topper – it featured a character of the couple and their dog Mug. One of my favorite moments was Art’s groomsmen lifting him on to their shoulders and parading him through the venue!

Thank you so much Jasmine and Art! I loved getting to know you two and your very unique love story!
