If you are a parent or soon to be high school or college graduate considering taking grad photos to celebrate your achievement, this guide is for you.
Your high school or university graduation is an important moment after which everything will change and it’s a celebration of all of your hard work. Your graduation is a unique moment in your life that should be documented. Plus having a modern headshot has so many advantages! You can use your grad photos for your resume, website, or social media profile and give prints to parents.
Grad photos typically take place on your campus but I can also recommend locations if you prefer something different. I always recommend weekends for campuses because classes are not in session and there will be fewer people in the backgrounds of your photos. Sunset is the best light to photograph in so the photo session will begin one to two hours before sunset.
