I personally was nervous about not knowing how to pose and looking awkward in photos but Chanelle’s such a friendly and approachable person. She gave great direction when it came to posing and was very understanding when we told her we didn’t want to do certain poses. Even though we had some hiccups with the snow melting before we got up there, she worked her magic and got us some amazing shots! Her communication throughout our entire experience was great and we always felt like a priority. Our wedding photos came out so beautiful and I can't stop looking at them! Having photographed over 200 weddings and almost 20 years in the wedding industry, I have a sense for anticipating moments and I'm sensitive to your needs. Sometimes that means understanding when you feel overwhelmed by your three sisters that have all been married and all have their own opinions about your wedding.
I remember finding myself in this situation with a bride, I felt her discomfort and sensed that she was going to lose it, really soon. So I grabbed her vape and asked her to step out with me for some bridals in the sunlight.
When we got outside I gave her the vape and told her "We don't need to take any photos, I just wanted to give you a tiny break. And give you the space to unload your feelings on me, in a way that won't cause problems with your family."
She gave me the biggest hug and said "You could really sense my anger boiling huh?!"
