Alana and Scott decided to take engagement photos in Edinburgh’s Circus Lane. We began our photo date at St. Vincents Bar known locally as The Vinnie. The bar is directly opposite St Stephen’s Church with its great steeple, just off St Stephen Street
EDINBURGH ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS AT CIRCUS LANE
Circus Lane is the most famous and Instagrammable street in Stockbridge. Stockbridge has a quaint village atmosphere and is only a ten minute walk from Edinburgh city centre. There are so many cafes and eateries in Stockbridge.
After the photoshoot, I recommend buying cheese from the experts at I.J. Mellis and head dow to the Water of Leith walk for a quick picnic. Or grab a drink at The Raeburn or The Last Word, lunch at Hamiltons or dinner at Scran and Scallie.
If you’re contemplating taking your engagement photos at Circus Lane, a prime Edinburgh engagement shoot location. I highly recommend an early morning start time, around 7am before the tourists arrive and locals leave for work.
