Looking for San Diego photo shoot locations? San Diego is known for its laid back vibe, mild Mediterranean climate and Mexican cultural influence. There is something for everyone, whether your outdoorsy or foodie. If you’re a local, a tourist just visiting for the week, or a couple looking to elope in San Diego, then this article is for you!
I always recommend mornings for most locations so that there are fewer people in the backgrounds of your photos. However, sunset is the best light to photograph in on the west coast and I do my best to photograph locations in away that captures the fewest amount of distractions in your photos.

BEST SAN DIEGO PHOTO SHOOT LOCATIONS
Windansea has my heart for the best beach in San Diego. Rocky cliff coast with sandy beach access during low tide.
Sunset Cliffs – Free but very limited parking. The cliffs just end and it feels like the actual edge of the world!
Balboa Park – Free but very limited parking. So many different areas to explore.
